STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS WE WORK WITH

Lately,  sustainability in fashion and textiles has received much attention. The challenge of sustainably and ethically dressing is becoming easier to achieve. Nonetheless, putting together a responsible wardrobe still requires a critical spirit and some in-depth research. As green becomes fashionable, so does greenwashing.
If the influence of your choices as a consumer are dear to you, we strongly recommend to read about your favorite brand or certification and ask questions. Make sure you get clear answers.
Sustainability in textile is a field in rapid development, and choices need to be made reflecting the brands' philosophy.
As a producer of textile goodies, I need to update regularly on my suppliers, certifications, impact studies, cleaning products and technologies. We also believe in flexibility and change and are open to learn from suppliers and professionals about new products that can take us a step further (never back) in improving our ecological footprint.
The certifications we strongly believe in to reflect our lifestyle and business vision:

GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD (GOTS)

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a leading global standard for organic fibres, covering the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of all textiles made from certified organic natural fibres.
 We use only the Label-grade 1: ‚organic‘ ≥ 95% certified organic fibres, ≤ 5 % non-organic natural or synthetic fibres.
The GOTS quality mark is the best of the best in the country of organic cotton. GOTS sets very strict requirements that particularly concern issues such as water use and waste water, traceability, environmentally friendly farming practices involving no GMOs, artificial fertilisers, or agro-chemicals, animal welfare, and safe working conditions.
